How we pick gear and gifts

Everyday Costa Rica publishes editorial shopping lists for Costa Rica travel and gifting—not an owned storefront. Here is how we choose product types, and how affiliate links work.

What makes a list

We start from how people actually travel in Costa Rica: humid days, sudden rain, mixed beach and forest plans, and gifts that travel well by mail. Categories favor versatile product types—rain layers, daypacks, coffee, sun and insect protection—over trend gadgets.

We describe product types and search queries so you can compare brands, ratings, and shipping on Amazon. We do not invent prices, claim exclusive inventory, or publish fake best-seller ranks.

What we do not claim

  • We do not operate a Costa Rica warehouse or sell our own SKUs.
  • We do not guarantee stock, delivery dates, or product quality—Amazon and sellers set those terms.
